The Smart #5, the largest model ever produced by the brand, will arrive in Europe at the end of 2025. This SUV aims to attract customers who grew up with smaller models like the ForTwo and are now looking for a more spacious and high-tech vehicle.

With a robust design and unique details such as frameless doors and retractable handles, the #5 stands out from the smaller models to avoid a repetitive look. It will be offered in five versions – Pro, Pro+, Premium, Pulse, and the special Summit edition – with the latter featuring exclusive accessories like a roof rack and an electronic tow bar.

Inside, the #5 focuses on comfort and technology, featuring soft-touch materials and a dashboard dominated by 13-inch screens in higher-end versions. The operating system has been redesigned for greater customization, and the model can include advanced features such as an augmented reality head-up display and a premium sound system from Sennheiser.

The interior space is generous, especially for rear-seat passengers, and the trunk offers 630 liters, including a compartment under the floor.

The SUV will be available with two battery options: a 76 kWh version for the base model, delivering 335 hp and up to 463 km of range, and a 100 kWh version for more powerful models, reaching 579 hp, all-wheel drive, and 589 km of range. Fast charging can reach up to 400 kW on top-tier models.

Prices are expected to start at $58,100 in the UK, making the #5 a competitive option in the premium electric SUV segment.
